Privacy Policy
How Scorelian Holding Ltd collects, uses, and protects your information on this website.
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
1. Who We Are
Scorelian Holding Ltd ("Scorelian", "Nexalia", "we", "us") is a company registered in Kenya (Company No. PVT-8Z1KLO5Q), operating Scorelian Business Solutions and Nexalia Technologies. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through scorelian.com, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
It covers this website. Information that customers and their employees enter into Nexalia applications at Mynexalia.com is handled under the agreement we have with the customer.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number shared when you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or request a demo, quotation or service
- Company name and details shared when requesting our products and services
- Employer, company and vacancy details submitted through the Post a Job form, including the application questions an employer sets, and CVs and application materials submitted by job seekers, through our careers and jobs pages
- Basic technical data your browser sends to our web host when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide the products, demonstrations, quotations and services you request
- Review and publish job vacancies, and process job applications
- Contact employers about their vacancies and, where they have opted in, about Nexalia and Scorelian products and services
- Send updates and business insights, only where you have opted in
- Keep this website secure, and improve it
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the website and our services (for example hosting, email delivery, messaging and our cloud database, which is provided by Google Firebase), and with Scorelian Business Solutions, our consultancy brand, which provides HR, payroll and related services alongside Nexalia. When you apply for a vacancy, your application is shared with the employer who posted it. We disclose information where required by Kenyan law or a valid legal request.
5. Where Your Data Is Processed
Our cloud database, file storage and email delivery are provided by Google (Firebase) and Twilio SendGrid, whose servers are outside Kenya, including in the United States. When you submit a form or upload a CV, your information is therefore transferred to and stored outside Kenya. We use these providers under their data processing terms and take the steps the Data Protection Act, 2019 requires to protect your data when it is transferred.
6. Fonts, Videos, Analytics, Advertising and Technical Data
This website loads its text font from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and browser details. Some articles include YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and the video provider receives your IP address when a page with a video loads. Our web host also logs technical data such as IP address and pages requested. For cookies and analytics, see our Cookies Policy.
With your consent only, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used and the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited our websites. The legal basis is your consent, which you can give, refuse or withdraw at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. These tools receive page names, general actions (such as clicking a phone, email or WhatsApp link, or sending an enquiry) and technical data such as your IP address and browser. We do not send the contents of forms, CVs, payroll or employee records, or other personal details to them. Meta and Google act as independent controllers of the data they receive and may process it outside Kenya; see their privacy policies for details.
7. Your Rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Be informed of how your data is used
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Withdraw consent for updates or marketing communications at any time
- Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. How Long We Keep Data, and Security
- Enquiries, newsletter sign-ups and template downloads: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe
- Job applications and CVs: up to 12 months after the vacancy closes, unless you ask for earlier deletion. If you are hired, the employer's own policies apply to the records it holds
- Vacancies submitted by employers: while the listing runs, and for up to 24 months afterwards for our records
- Anything we are required by law to keep: for as long as the law requires
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
